Cotswold Competitions

Responsible participation

Competitions are intended for adults aged 18+, subject to the final approved Terms and the age-verification process used for the live competition.

Where the responsible-participation controls are commissioned, a verified customer account can set a monthly competition spend limit — including £0 — pause participation for at least seven days, request a minimum six-month suspension, or close the competition account. Suspended or closed accounts cannot enter and marketing is suppressed.

Competition entry is entertainment, not an investment or a way to solve financial problems. Cotswold advertising must not present participation as financial security, an alternative to employment or an escape from personal difficulty.

If you want a control applied and the self-service option is unavailable, contact mathew@cotswoldpartnership.com. Competition support and marketing preferences are separate: asking for a participation break must not require accepting marketing.

Independent support

If participation is causing financial or emotional difficulty, these organisations provide independent support. Cotswold Partnership is not affiliated with them.

Industry benchmark

The UK Government publishes a voluntary code of good practice for prize-draw operators covering player protection, transparency and accountability. It does not replace the final competition Terms or other legal obligations.

Privacy and measurement preferences

Essential security, account and payment evidence supports the service. Optional analytics and advertising are separate choices; they do not grant newsletter or SMS consent.

Approved optional-measurement wording is not configured. Optional tracking remains off.

External measurement providers are uncommissioned. No external purchase conversion or visitor measurement is sent.
